Dobbin Photography owns the copyright for any image we take or display here or on social media. We do not grant licence to anyone to use or display any of our images without express written permission.

Facebook Digital images are sold and granted the licence to display via social media by the purchaser or their immediate family once purchased from Dobbin Photography.
These images MUST NOT be tampered with in anyway to remove Logos or any other data when displayed on any social media outlet.

Dobbin Photography grants a limited licence to the purchaser of our High Resolution Image files on a personal basis.
These photographs may be printed for personal use or added to Social media accounts of the purchasing party or the individual featured in the image.
Again no alteration or tampering with the image is permitted for any purpose. These images are NOT granted for commercial use of any kind without the express written permission of the copyright owner.

Copyright

Dobbin Photography Retains the intellectual and artistic copyright of all the images on this site or social media accounts.
Digital images purchased from us for the purpose of social media are defined as Facebook  or Low Resolution images. These are provided for PERSONAL use on your social media accounts ONLY. We Do Not provide any rights to alter the image or remove any logo etc. Any alterations to the image will be prosecuted under copyright law at a value of £1500 per image plus costs.

Medium or High resolution images are provided for the purpose of home printing only we still retain the intellectual rights and DO NOT provide licence for modification or alteration of the image without prior approval in writing.

Commercial licence for images can be purchased by contacting the owner of the image for magazine or advertising usage and must be done in writing.

All Sales are final, we do however understand mistakes happen and will endeavor to make your visit to this site go as smoothly as possible.
Digital purchases are however NOT refundable but we may add a replacement image to your order if you have genuinely made a mistake but this will be at a 50% cost of the original.

Due to copyright infringement and theft of our images via screenshots, we have been forced to degrade the images displayed on this site. With this in mind we have disabled the automatic download of Facebook images. All digital images will now be sent via Email once the transaction is complete. You are responsible for picking the images you want, however you can of course contact us PRIOR to any purchase if you would like assistance in choosing an image or to clarify any detail of that image which may be difficult to see.

Additional Charges and services.

We offer object editing removal on our show images to a simple standard Free of charge.

For complex editing or object removal and large volumes of images, there is a nominal charge for our time as this work is very time consuming.
We charge the 1st Hour at a rate of £35.
Then £20 an Hour there after.
This will be agreed before hand in writing via email on purchased products and will be payable when complete before delivery.
Customers that purchase single images, digital or prints will all receive a standard edited picture with minor corrections and small object removals.

Full galleries from Beach shoots will be edited for colour correction and small object removal as part of the package and some larger corrections to a maximum of 10 images.
Additional work can be carried out as agreed but may incur additional cost.

Private shoots, all images provided will be edited without addition cost with in the provision of the package chosen.
We offer additional purchases as add-ons or upgrades to any product and these will be edited as part of the item cost.

Additional Discount

We try to keep our prices reasonable but we do work up to a quality and not down to a price.

We do not do this as a cheap hobby, our cameras and lenses alone cost many thousands of pounds. A recent fall cost £550 to repair a damaged lens for example.

We have several packages listed on the site, which are discounted no other discount requests will be entertained.

If we decide to run discounted promotions at anytime, such as album clearance, we will advertise the discount here and on social media.

We reserve the right to disallow any other promotional code on these sales.

Customers who have bought larger packages or physical products will receive discount codes, redeemable against products or services that we offer unless otherwise stated.

Beach Shoot from 2022 onward.

Due to demand, we have had to set a limit on the number of people attending any one shoot. This is to ensure that each ride and horse gets a fair amount of quality time with the photographer as well as keeping the maintaining the high standards we set.

In order to maintain the high quality of our beach shoots we are now charging a nominal signing on fee of £15. Should you not turn up without prior consent this will not be refunded but at the end of a successful shoot this fee will be redeemable against one image of equivalent value .

Purchase of physical items.

Physical items are items defined as having physical presence such as prints, canvases or collages. These are printed off site by professional photo labs to ensure beautiful  quality.

Once these orders are placed with the lab there can be no refund. we usually like to send as many orders at once as possible to keep postage to a minimum. Typically this will give you 24hrs to change your mind at most.

Postage and Electronic Delivery.

We do not charge huge sums for postage.
Facebook images are no longer available for instant download once the purchase is complete. All images are now sent via Email. These will be provided with a small Logo usually in the bottom right corner but the watermark will be removed.
Unfortunately, this will add a short delay and is the result of the actions of a few unscrupulous individuals
.
Digital HiRes images are sent electronically Via Email or a provided Link. We try to do this as quickly as possible and we do not charge for our time while doing this, be it late evening or weekends!

We do however, reserve the right to take up to 3 working days to deliver if there is an absolute need for it, which is rare.
If extra work is requested on an image, such as simple object removal then this can extend delivery time.

There is a nominal charge for postage currently, you are required to add this at checkout. If you do not add it or add the zero option either by accident or deliberately, Your order will be processed by the lab but WILL NOT BE SENT OUT.

Once your order is ready for dispatch, we will endeavor to contact you with the option to pay the postage or as we are nice we will allow you to collect from the next show we are at!

Should you not respond to the email, we reserve the right to not chase you to supply your order. If after 28 days no contact has been received from the client we will refund the order less a 25% charge for handling.

Private Shoots.

Private shoots require a 30% deposit to be paid at the time of booking.
28 Days notice is required to cancel a shoot with a full refund.

For any full or part week closer to the shoot date a cancellation fee will be charged at 10% per week incrementally the close it gets to the booking date.

The final fee must be fully paid 1 week prior to the shoot booking date. Should the fee remain unpaid on the day of the shoot, we reserve the right to NOT attend and no refund will be due.
